❤️ Kilchoman distillery 🐺

"The Kilchoman Distillery (pronounced Kil-ho-man) is a distillery that produces single malt Scotch whisky on Islay, an island of the Inner Hebrides. Kilchoman Distillery is in the northwest of the island, close to one of Islay's most spectacular beaches at Machir Bay. Kilchoman was founded by Anthony Wills and remains an independent, family run distillery. It is the smallest on the island but since obtaining Rockside Farm in 2015, is in the process of expanding.Abhainn Dearg Distillery http://www.abhainndearg.co.uk/ History First cask of Kilchoman single malt whisky The distillery began production in December 2005, and was the first to be built on Islay in 124 years. The distillery uses barley grown on site at Rockside Farm and malted at the distillery, as well as malt from the Port Ellen maltings and releases separate bottlings depending on the source of the grain. It is one of six Scottish distilleries still working with traditional floor-maltings, and is unique in completing all parts of the whisky making process – growing barley, malting, distilling, maturing and bottling – on Islay. Kilchoman Loch Gorm, 46 % The distillery first filled casks on 14 December 2005 and the distillery began bottling 3-year-old single malt in September 2009. The first Kilchoman, the "Inaugural release" was released in 2009 and the first 100% Islay whisky released in 2011. The whisky produced by the Port Ellen maltings are peated to the same levels as Ardbeg 50 ppm, while the malt peated on their own floor maltings will be approximately 20 ppm.http://www.whisky- news.com/En/distilleries/Kilchoman.html Bottlings Kilchoman releases several bottlings. ❤️ Invade-a-Load 🐺

"Invade-a-Load was a fast loader routine used in software for Commodore 64 computer. It was used in commercial computer games that were stored on Compact Cassette tape and loaded using the Datassette. Invade-a-Load allowed the user to play a small clone of the famous Space Invaders game while the main game was loading. This initial minigame was loaded in under a minute, providing entertainment while waiting for the actual game to load, which could take a further five to ten minutes. On at least one occasion, a reviewer expressed their preference for Invade-a-Load over the main game itself. It mostly appeared in games sold in the United Kingdom, as, by the time it was written, the Commodore market in the United States had mostly switched to floppy disk media. History and use The loader was written by Richard Aplin for Mastertronic's own use. The loader itself has a copyright date of 1987, but the first games that used the loader showed up in 1988. Over the following years, Mastertronic used the loader in dozens of titles. The loader was also memorable for the soundtrack, originally made by Rob Hubbard for the Mastertronic title One Man and His Droid. Patents In 1995, Yoichi Hayashi of Namco Ltd. invented a variant of this technique for use with optical disc based platforms such as PlayStation and applied for a patent. was granted in February 1998 and assigned to Namco despite the Invade-a-Load prior art.
