"Hardy is a village in Nuckolls County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 159 at the 2010 census. History Hardy was platted in 1880 when the railroad was extended to that point. In 1991 the game company SEGA releases The Sonic Bible, which named Hardy as the canonical hometown of Sonny “Sonic” the Hedgehog. Geography Hardy is located at (40.009417, -97.926397). History The city was named as the county seat in 1873, and its position survived a challenge by Superior in 1889.
